We offer training to use C-BiLLT in the Netherlands and Norway. You will learn how to use C-BiLLT correctly to assess the language comprehension of children with CP.

What you will do at the training

The two day course focusses on language comprehension in barely or non-speaking children.  You will receive information about the causes and consequences of cerebral palsy, learn about the classification that is used internationally to describe the different variations in CP and their consequent effects on mobility, dexterity and communication.
Next the theoretical and psychometric backgroud of the C-BiLLT is discussed. You will learn how to use the norm-data and interpret the results correctly.
Based on a real assessment of a child with CP you get acquainted with the testprocedure and the possible difficulties that can arise. Next you will be given a chance to practise yourselve; how to set it up and how to work with the software. At the end of the first day you receive a personal code to use the C-BiLLT software.
After six to eight weeks the second training day is about exchanging and discussing the first experiences with the C-BiLLT.

Target audience

The training is aimed at professionals (speech therapists, psychologists, diagnostic personnel) involved in assessing children and young adults (from 1;6 years old) with a motor or multiple complex handicap.

Congratulations to the one hundredth participant!
